Yet this soap also contributes to ecology by sustaining a balanced way of farming, small family farms, nonrenewable resources and the land. Our soap is creamy and mild. It’s scented with herbs and flowers grown right on the farm, or with essential oils (extracts from plants) and natural fragrances. We mill (refine) more than 20 varieties of milk soap. Milling creates a long-lasting, fragrant soap that maintains its silky texture and decorative shape. When you buy soap from Clean Harvest, you help small family farmers add value to their milk. This keeps livestock in production on the land instead of in confinement. It sustains our crops with rich organic matter instead of energy-dependent and soil-acidifying chemical fertilizer.
